Rules
Description:
*Kangaroo is basically a spinoff of the game 21 "Tip".
*To start a game, the players must shoot to determine the order of the players.
*After the order is determined, the game begins when the first player breaks from the free throw line (intentionally misses to set up the next player).
*The next player then has to get to the ball and both catch and shoot the ball while in midair.
1. If they make the shot they must shoot up to 3 free throws from the free throw line (works like a single bonus, once he misses his free throws are over; if he makes all three, he must break for the next player).
2. If he were to miss the original shot play would continue from the last shot onto the next player. After every made basket except for free throws there is the possibility for a conversion which will be described later.
*Every basket is worth 2 points and each free throw is worth an additional one.
*Players play till one person gets to 21.
*Finally a conversion, the most difficult part of the game, is after a person makes their normal shot, every other player must in order tip the ball into the hoop, without the ball touching the ground in between.
1. If everyone other than the shooter makes their tip, it is a successful conversion which results in no points for the shooter and the shooter will break to continue play.
This is a brief description of the game, examples in clips and photos will be displayed further down on the page.

1. Dimensions:
a. The game is to be played with a size 29.5" basketball for indoor or outdoor use.
b. The game is to be played on a hoop between 8' and 10'.
c. The free throw line is to be 15' from the backboard.
d. There is no "out of bounds," players must shoot from wherever the ball lands.
2. Shooting:
a. The player must catch and shoot the ball while in midair. If the player is able to they may also dunk the ball as well (the same rules apply, they must catch and dunk while in midair).
b. If the ball lands and stops the player must pick up the ball and bounce it in front of them without advancing any closer to the hoop. After they bounce it, they must shoot it like any other play.
c. If any player interferes with another players shot, or breaks another rule, the player before the player who was interfered, must break to reset the game.
3. Scoring:
a. If a player reaches 13, they are "safe" meaning that they cannot be tipped to anything less then 13 (ex. Jeff is at 17 and gets tipped therefore his score returns to 13, not the normal 0 if he were to have had less then 13).
b. If a player lands on 20 after shooting free throws their score returns to 13.
